Prospecting Codes (October 2026)
The working Prospecting codes for free Cash, Meteor Shards and Luck Boosts, how to redeem them after the tutorial, and the codes that expired.
How we check: every code on this page is cross-checked against Prospecting’s official channels, and we only list a code as active when the evidence agrees. Codes are copied character-for-character, so capital letters, numbers and symbols are exactly what the game expects.
Prospecting is a relaxing gold-panning game: you grab your pan, head to the river, search for gold, gems and hidden treasures, upgrade your gear and explore rivers, caves and old mining sites. It launched in May 2025, and it has passed 263 million visits.
Codes here tend to be short-lived. Six codes are listed below, so redeem them soon.
Active Prospecting Codes
- shiny 20K Cash
- delay 250 Meteor Shards and 2× Luck (3 Hours)
- rebuild $20,000, 200 Meteor Shards, and 2x Luck (1 Hour)
- oneyear $50,000, 400 Meteor Shards, 2x Luck (2 Hours), 1.5x Sell Boost (2 Hours), and 1.5x Size
- starfall $20,000, 200 Meteor Shards, and 2x Luck (1 Hour)
- egghunt $20,000, 200 Meteor Shards, and 2x Luck (1 Hour)
Codes are case-sensitive — copy them with the button so capital letters, numbers and symbols come out exactly right, and redeem them soon, because codes can expire without notice.

How to Redeem Prospecting Codes
- Launch Prospecting from the Roblox app and finish the tutorial first — codes are locked until you do.
- Click the Settings button in the top menu.
- Type a code into the Enter Code area.
- Click Claim to receive your rewards.
What Prospecting Codes Give You
Cash is the most common reward and pays for pans, gear and upgrades, so the code shiny (20K Cash), helps early. The newer codes also give Meteor Shards and a 2x Luck boost lasting up to three hours, and the oneyear code is the biggest at $50,000 plus 400 Meteor Shards.
Luck boosts are worth saving for when you are about to search a rich area, since they improve what you find for the whole duration once they start.
Why Aren’t My Prospecting Codes Working?
The most common reason a code fails is that you have not finished the tutorial. After that, check that it is lowercase, since Prospecting codes are typed exactly, and that you did not already redeem it. Older codes such as ancient, plants and winter have expired.
When Does Prospecting Get New Codes?
New codes appear with events and updates (starfall and egghunt are examples of event-style names) and for milestones such as 200KLIKES. The game’s description also asks you to like and favorite it, which is often when developers reward players.

About Prospecting
In Prospecting you pan for gold, discover rare gems, explore new areas and use sluices to keep earning while you are offline. Servers hold up to 20 players, and the game is deliberately laid-back.
The loop is simple: search, upgrade your gear, and travel further for richer finds. Codes give a small push to that upgrade path.
How Prospecting Plays and How Players Rate It
Prospecting is a relaxed gold-panning game. You grab a pan, work rivers, caves and old mining sites to find gold, gems and hidden treasure, upgrade your gear, and use sluices that keep grinding while you are offline.
Figures come from the game’s public Roblox page and were read on October 13, 2026. They change over time.
